Reading Reflections: Big Panda and Tiny Dragon by James Norbury

Reflecting on a book that was packed with wisdom.

Big Panda and Tiny Dragon, by @jamesnorburyofficial

This was a birthday gift for my Little Niece who turned xx today (can’t release the age without her permission!). She loves this book!

I’m taking this opportunity too to share this beautiful book with all of you friends out there.

‘Big Panda & Tiny Dragon’ - the spiritual wisdom of the Universe, lessons from Nature, all conveyed through creative art and 2 adorable characters - a big panda, hence Big Panda, and a tiny dragon, hence Tiny Dragon.

Simple yet profound.

I was chuckling while reading the book, yet emotionally touched and encouraged. James Norbury, the author of the books, inspired by the hardship of many during his time with The Samaritans, decided to communicate such profound spiritual wisdom to people in simple, and accessible way, transcending man-made religious barriers.

Hardships nurture wisdom. Wisdom is perhaps the most important ingredient in any model of leadership and coaching, more so than any skills and tools. Wise leaders are grateful to hardships that life brings to them, without which, they wouldn’t be where they are.
